Years ago, we placed some sign-up cards for “Bible To You” lessons in a restaurant, in a Pennsylvania hunting and camping area. A man named Matt, from another part of our state, picked one up during a camping trip, and contacted us about the lessons. He proceeded to do the lessons faithfully.
In time, we learned that Matt and his pastor were interested in the lessons as a follow-up program for the inmates in several prisons where Matt taught the Word of God each week. The two men were actually investigating the trustworthiness of “Bible To You” lessons. When they were sure that “BTY” could be trusted, they asked for master copies. We sent them the master copies. Next is a record of Brother Matt’s work, using the “BTY” lessons since then.
Matt wrote, We sent out first lesson out on 12/20/02 and since then:20,770 people have received the first lesson. 8,146 have done at least the first lesson. A total of 88,039 lessons have been sent out. Sent to 1,823 cities. Sent lessons to all 50 states, Africa, Canada, and Mexico. Sent into621 different prisons. 4,942 certificates sent out. 1,320 called upon Jesus for salvation from doing the lessons.
We marvel at what this man has done through the years, using “Bible To You” lessons! we call that long-term, sacrificial service! How about it, folks, are you willing to try to do a work for the Lord Jesus Christ?
Plug in and use “Bible To You” lessons any way that you can. They are a tool which has been developed through the guidance of the Lord, and put together using the King James Bible. If you want to learn more about God’s Word, use them for your self. Once you get into them, perhaps you will be able to share the lessons with someone else.
You may not be called of the Lord to accomplish what Matt has, but you will never know what can be accomplished through you, until you step out by faith.
