Why We Use the King James Bible

You may ask why we use the King James Bible for all of our lessons in English.  There are specific reasons for that.  One reason is for uniformity, so that all lessons and answers fit correctly together. That only makes sense!

Another reason is because the Word of God, as we have it in the King James Bible, is preserved as seen in Psalms 12:6.  “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.  Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.”

The King James is a word for word translation of the original Greek and Hebrew texts, not a version, but an exact copy of God’s words.  All versions have come from faulty manuscripts and are compiled by men such as Wescott and Horte, who were intellectuals of their day, but who also practiced spiritual evil.

To learn more on this, please study our lessons called God’s Word Preserved, which are listed under the adult lessons in English. They reveal the texts, the translators and the techniques used  in the King James development versus those used in all other English versions.

Let us hold fast to truth, and share that truth without fainting, and to God be the glory!
