We are blessed!

This home has been blessed: Carl was able to prepare a large garden, all plants and seeds are in, and growing.

This ministry has been blessed: God has supplied a web site builder to rebuild and modernize the Bible To You website. The dear man is still serving God, with his ability, at age 81! He is doing a great job of it. What a blessing, and what a testimony for the rest of us to learn from!

This week’s student lesson returns are corrected. Carl is stuffing the return envelopes with a new lesson, 2 gospel tracts, pages from daily devotionals and a bi-weekly write-up we call “Bits of Home Chat”, as well as a memory verse and verses to ponder; they coordinate with the memory verse. If you have a jail or prison outreach, this is a great way to make your students feel like a part of your family and church. For instance, we share about church activities and general things about our daily life. We could send you some samples if you are interested in trying this concept. (Be wise, as not using children’s names, and not giving information that could lead to your being misused.)

My ladies’ Bible Study has been blessed! The ladies’, from my home Bible study, started making baby supplies for the Pregnancy Resource Center in Shelby, NC. The Center has gotten their rebuilt ultrasound unit ready to go, serving more towns and Cities, helping moms to keep their babies. Three more ladies also volunteered. One lady donated about 16 yards of material for nursing cover-ups, baby carrying slings and seat liners for shopping carts. Two ladies, a mother and daughter, have prepared 30 embroidered bibs. Two young ladies, sisters, are doing matching hats and booties. Another is making baby afghans and bonnets. A little girl is sewing burp clothes. I am doing the baby-carrying slings.
